We are excited to announce that Milk Moovement closed on a $20 million USD Series A round led by VMG Catalyst, the venture capital firm that invests in technology powering the next generation of retail and consumer businesses. The new funding will help accelerate product development and adoption of Milk Moovement among leading dairy businesses in North America. Also participating were minority investors Ecolab and existing investors Bread and Butter, Richard Cargill, Volta, SOSV, Techstars, Matchstick Ventures and Dynamo Ventures.

SDTC funding will allow Milk Moovement to continue our mission of building a more profitable, sustainable, and equitable agriculture supply chain.

ST JOHN’S, Canada - Today, Milk Moovement, a leading cloud-based dairy supply chain software, announces CAD $1.5 million in funding to optimize the dairy supply chain and make the dairy industry more sustainable by addressing and reducing the greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions through route optimization.

Milk Moovement is appointed as the supply chain technology provider for California Dairies, Inc. (CDI), the second-largest milk marketing cooperative in the United States.

This week we have decided to highlight some of the great initiatives by Dairy Farmers of Canada towards continuously improving the dairy industry. The industry has come a long way from hauling metal milk jugs from the farm to the dairy on the back of a truck!  Over the years the industry has seen great improvements as dairy farming and processing has evolved.
